Atlantic Fluids and Integrated Services Limited (AFIS) is a wholly Nigerian-owned company that began operation in 2007. We are registered in the NNPC-NipeX JQS database (certificate no 330120453389) and active members of the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN).
In support and appreciation of the Federal Government's initiative and the promulgation of the Local Content Act, all AFIS staff strength of over fifty (50), excluding consultant engineers are Nigerian. We are fully compliant with all requirements of the Nigerian Content Development & Monitory Board (NCDMB). AFIS is registered in the NOGIC portal and our Mud Laboratory is certified by the NCDMB.
Since its inception, AFIS has been in partnership with a multi-national services company on various drilling projects for International Oil Companies (IOC). This arrangement has greatly assisted AFIS in developing technical and operational excellence and human capability in various drilling and completion operations in which we have jointly participated.
AFIS has successfully drilled over 40 wells ranging from simple vertical wells to high angle extended reach wells on land, swamp, and offshore terrain for both local and international E & P companies.
AFIS believes in prompt and efficient service delivery to their clients, this has led to the employment of highly experienced and qualified staff with industry experience to provide the required services. To keep abreast with technological development in the E & P industry, both in-house and external training programs are regularly organized for staff through an existing training partnership with a reputable Mud Training School based in Port Harcourt. Staff are equally sent abroad regularly for more advanced training. This has enabled our Engineers to become extremely experienced and knowledgeable about the local geological and geographical terrain of most drilling locations.
